Natural Aquarium Turtle Experience

Welcome to Zanzibar's Natural Aquarium where you will enjoy interacting with beautiful native turtles. The turtles are brought to the aquarium after they have been caught in the fisherman's nets and have been injured, and once they reach a certain size they're being released back into the ocean.

This unique conservation center provides a safe haven for sea turtles that have been injured or caught accidentally in fishing nets. Rather than a traditional aquarium, this is a natural tidal pool that fills with fresh seawater during high tide, creating a perfect rehabilitation environment for these magnificent creatures.
